Setup Exmail Domain

After creating an WeCom, the first thing to do is to set up the email domain. With the email domain set up, members can use email addresses associated with that domain. For example, when "kosontechnology.com" is set as the domain, members can use emails like "[email protected]", "[email protected]", and so on.

It able to implement by connecting the MX record of the domain to WeCom, you make WeCom the mail server responsible for handling emails under that domain. This allows WeCom using the domain as email addresses.

After completing the setup, click on the [完成配置，立即验证] button below.

Public Exmailbox

Public mailbox is an email address that multiple people can use simultaneously.

The different of Personal Exmail and Public Exmail

Aspect
Personal Exmail

Purpose

Intended for individual members in WeCom.

Shared email address used by multiple members.

User

Associated with a single member.

Accessed and managed by multiple members.

Limited

Each member can only has 1 personal Exmail.

Free WeCom organization only able to create 3 public Exmail. For more public Exmail refer to 邮件高级功能

Creation Method

Automatically created with personal WeChat Work account.

Created and assigned by organization administrator.

Login Method

Login at https://en.exmail.qq.com/ OR via WeCom app or client..

Login via members who has access of that public exmail at https://en.exmail.qq.com/ OR via WeCom app or client. Refer to

SMTP

Allows sending emails via SMTP protocol

Etc., If you want to changing exmail from [email protected] to [email protected]

Backup Exmail

Etc, if someone is left WeCom, and want to backup his mailing history to other mail no matter personal or public:

The backup history will store at [my folder] like below

Suggestion: Admin is suggest to backup the mailing history to public exmail [email protected] which is easy admin to manage all.

ReAssign Exmail

Etc., If you want to assign exmail [email protected] which belong to Ahing to Calvin:

The mailing history of [email protected] with moving together.

IMPORTANT: Reassign is different with backup. When you reassign a new exmail to a member, that member original mail will place at 邮箱回收站 for 30 days and automatic deleted after all.
